THE PLAIN-LANGUAGE RETIREMENT HANDBOOK
Answers for your next step.
Practical answers for readers exploring start learning.
Where should I start?
Read the planning page, then choose the guide that matches your question. Gold covers products and pricing, Silver explains physical silver and historic dollars, and IRA covers account and custody basics.
Are gold and silver the same kind of purchase?
Both are precious metals, but their prices, product sizes, premiums, and storage needs differ. Compare the actual product and total costs rather than choosing only by price per coin.
What does a premium mean?
It is the amount above the underlying metal reference value included in the product price. Manufacturing, distribution, dealer pricing, and collectible demand can affect it.
Can I buy personally instead of through an IRA?
Yes, personal ownership is a separate route. Review a written quote, payment terms, delivery, insurance, and storage. A personal purchase does not receive IRA treatment automatically.
What should I have ready for a conversation?
Your questions, a general description of the account, and a sense of your goals and time horizon. Do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or payment information through the guide form.
Do the guides commit me to buying?
No. The educational downloads require your first name, last name, email address, and phone number. A representative may follow up about your request, but completing the form does not open an account, move money, or place an order.
